The founder and Managing Director of SEMARK, Semmy began his career in Media and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass communications from the University of Dar es salaam. He moved on from working as a news reporter in a firm based in Dar es Salaam to start his own start-up focusing on printing and media production. He has contributed towards the growth of innovative tech start-ups from initial stages and has played a crucial role in the scaling of these businesses through digital marketing and advertising. He provides invaluable insights for team scalability with a speciality in customer relations, business development and strategic planning.
He is a dynamic team player with over 10 years of experience working in the multi-media production industry. He has participated in over 100 production projects that included local films, weddings, corporate events and style videography. Apart from being the man behind the camera he is a part-time football player and man with high empathy.
Is an experienced media professional with a vast experience in audio-visual production, editing, news reporting, commercial advertising, graphic designing and content management. He has over 7 years of experience working with most prominent media houses in Tanzania such as ITV, Channel ten, CTN and EATV. He is an enthusiast of design thinking and idea development. Arnold is savvy in up-to-date operating systems, development tools, and editing tools.
A sales and marketing expert with a profile of closing deals with reputable companies such as Kagera Sugar, ESTIM Construction, MOTISUN Group, Alpha Africa and Bakhresa Group. She had a track record of accelerating sales up to 30% per annum through creative marketing segments and channels. She has a strong command of digital marketing systems and marketing strategy execution. Zakia holds a Bachelor of Business Management specialized in Finance from Bangalore University, India. In her free time, she likes to cook, swim and jog.

She has speciality in developing operational manuals, safeguarding policies as well as monitoring and evaluation of programs. She is also savvy in managing business partnerships.
